"Welcome back to the circus! The wait is over, finally, as fans click play and begin their journey through the Lurk Skank EP. It has been a long while since Levitation Jones has put out any official content, but the wait is worth it. 2017 was an extremely busy and convoluted time for Levitation Jones, filled with a massive 40+ city headline tour, an array of major festivals, and, on top it all, a personal life to balance into this mix. Staying so busy can be stressful and confusing and unfortunately can sometimes cause one to shut down.

Despite a large amount of success across the country, Jones admittedly fell into a few bad habits including drug addiction, and alcoholism, coupled with a naturally bipolar mind, creating some disappointing moments and circumstances. Luckily, for him and his fans, Jones took a short and much needed sabbatical at home, rested his mind, focused on his art, and dialed in to his best work yet. Lurk Skank tells you a story of the mind and attitude of Levitation Jones. This 5-track EP navigates the dark, the gloomy, the real, the honest, the silly, the satirical, and the determined Levitation Jones at his best, and only getting better."
